Watercolors
As a native of the Southwestern United States, I have discovered that watercolor offers the best means for interpreting the unique light and color of the region. My paintings focus on the desert landscape: mountain vistas to canyon streams, as well as cacti and native plants. I enjoy contrasting the power and grandeur of nature with elements of the delicate and fragile. This balance has been part of what propels my work.
